More Motorbike Easy Listening
As promised, here are the other Motorbike related podcasts in my playlist so that you too can enjoy them.
The Cafe Racer Motorcycle Podcast: What do you get when you cross a Fireman and a Sailor that both love motorcycles? You get this entertaining podcast that covers both cafe race type bikes and adventure type bikes. They cover a variety of topics and have managed to travel to shows and adventure rallies. They do pretty well in getting interviews from various industry insiders and even everyday riders. They are closet hipsters at times and review various products related to adventure riding, the cafe racer culture and hipster shaving gear. They can be found on iTunes and other social media sites.
The Motorriffic Motorcycle Podcast: Finally a motorbike related podcast for the female rider in your life. These two ladies cover all areas of motorcycling from gear to recent motorcycle models coming from the manufacturers to recalls. One of the hosts works for a major gear distributed and has made a name for herself reviewing gear and helping other ladies get properly fitting gear. The other host covers the Southern California motorcycle scene from soup to nuts. There is a good amount of race coverage as well. Found at the usual spots, take a listen especially if you want to include the females in your life into your Motorbike Obsessions.
The Pace Podcast: This is a long time podcast by a couple of gentleman and is a refreshing take on all things motorcycle. This is one of the more serious podcasts with very insightful analysis of many aspects of motorcycling. Both of the hosts have been motorcycling for quite some time and their discussions over the 200+ podcasts really have helped me to learn a lot. Take a listen and see what you think. They are over on iTunes.
The Wheelnerds: Almost the polar opposite of The Pace Podcast in terms of seriousness as these guys are a couple of goofs that just enjoy riding. Between the fart jokes there is good, entertaining info on the Utah motorcycling scene. They have lots of guests and for the most part the guests are everyday riders including a motorcycle cop. These guys are goofy, but it's a fun listen and helps to keep you grounded in reality when lots of other motorbike content can be all too serious. Between The Pace and The Wheelnerds you get both sides of the coin as well as some group podcasts between the two. Check them out on iTunes and on their webpage.
Pit Pass Motorcycle Racing: An actual radio show that you can get in podcast form and as the title of the show states, it is all about motorbike racing. All types of racing from motorcross to dirt track to road racing. The hosts have an off-road bend to their show, but they do cover all racing types. The one thing I really like is that they get pro racers from all disciplines on the show to do interviews. This gives me a good insight into pro racing in the states. Since it is a weekly radio show you get two full hours of content, but you also get commercials. It's a price I'm willing to pay for their insights. On iTunes and they have their own dedicated app.
Well there you have it. These are the shows that I use when I'm working out or working in the garage to keep me informed on all the things going on in the motorbike universe. Between all 10 of them you can have almost one show a day. Take a listen and hopefully you too can find something you enjoy.
